Ribbon, Aiji and Chiori decided to stay in the field for the rest of the day. Ai had gone home to check on Rei, for she had said that he had a stomach ache (this was a complete lie of course).
Chiori kept looking up at the moon. 'What's up Chiori' Aiji asked, when he saw her looking up at the Heavens. 'When mom was still around' Chiori said 'When it was a full moon like this, we used to look up at it. She'd tell me stories about the moon, and it always made me feel better when I felt upset' Ribbon looked up too 'Wow, it's so big and beautiful on nights like this' Both girls eyes shone, and Aiji shrugged, amazed that girls could be awestruck with just a big glowing ball in the sky. But he had to admit, it was a pretty night. |
